波比（洪金寶飾）是巴賽隆納一間偵探社的打手，這天，他的偵探社接到了一單大生意：客人委託他們14天內找到一名叫歌利亞的女子和她的女兒蘇麗亞。因為偵探社的社長偵探在外躲債，而無比又不想眼白白丟了一單生意，於是，他找來在當地經營快餐車的華人青年湯瑪士（成龍飾）與大衛（元彪飾）一起進行調查。
通過調查，他們發現歌利亞原來是當地一名富豪伯爵的千金，伯爵已經去世，如果找不到她或者她女兒的話巨額的遺產將落入她的堂兄的口袋，而他們幕後雇主正是這位心懷叵測的堂兄！於是，一幕英雄救美的好戲上演了
Boby (Hong Jinbao) is a thug of a detective agency in Barcelona. On this day, his detective agency received a big business: the guests entrusted them to find a woman named Goliath and her daughter sulia within 14 days. Because the detective agency’s chief detective is out to dodge debts, and he doesn’t want to lose a business, so he asks young Chinese Thomas (Jackie Chan) and David (yuan Biao), who run fastfood cars in the local area, to investigate together.
Through the investigation, they found that Goliath was the daughter of a local rich earl. The Earl had passed away. If she or her daughter could not be found, the huge legacy would fall into her cousin’s pocket, and their employer behind the scenes was this malicious cousin! So, a good scene of hero saving beauty was staged
