This is a video I’ve been wanting to make since I moved to Thailand. It’s all about the ladyboy culture in Thailand.

Ladyboys, or transgenders, are extremely common in Thailand and you will see them everywhere — on the streets, on the metro, in restaurants and especially in nightlife areas. Many times, you won’t even notice it’s a ladyboy, since they look like beautiful women.

The reason I made this video is to A) educate you about the ladyboy culture in Thailand and B) tell you how accepting Thailand is to treat them like normal members of society. It’s remarkable.

As you and I both know, dozens and dozens of countries in today’s world are moving in the opposite direction towards acceptance of those in the LGBTQ community — so this video can be a lesson to the world.

They are just people — let them live their lives.

I have been chatting with a friend who has been smitten by a really pretty Thai ladyboy, and he reached out to me about what he should do. One of the hardest things to do is give dating advice to people you’ve never met in person, and with transgender dating, it is even more difficult. One reason is that you really don’t know why the person is interested in transgender dating given all the negativity we see in the news media and how their friends will react. There is no doubt that Thailand has some of the most attractive ladyboys on this planet and from my experience, they don’t carry all the baggage that western transgender people have had to deal with, so they can be a lot of fun. My first transgender date was over 40 years ago, and it is a different world we live in now. Still, I hope the information here can be useful for the first time explorers into transgender dating and relationships.
